Hello and welcome to Slammin’ Sauces — currently a one-man band run by me, Marvin, right here in Watford, UK.

So why Slammin’ Sauces?
Well, the original plan was to open a food truck serving chicken wings and fried chicken. But food trucks are expensive — and, let’s be honest, the UK fried chicken scene is already pretty crowded.

While experimenting and chasing the perfect chicken wing, I found store-bought sauces a bit… pedestrian. I wanted something with real character. So I started making my own — BBQ, Mango & Habanero, Sweet Honey Sriracha — and got more and more hooked on the process of creating and refining sauces.

Before long, I was making them in batches, bottling some for later, and thought, why not sell them? Especially since I was ordering habaneros by the kilogram at that point!

All our sauces are homemade in small batches, right here in my kitchen. That means I know exactly what goes into every single bottle.

So here we are — a website, a growing range of sauces, and hopefully soon a regular spot at local market stalls around Hertfordshire.
